Site viticole et d’oenotourisme d’exception à visiter ! Cet ancien château fort, situé au coeur des Graves, joua un rôle prépondérant dans l’histoire de la ville de Portets jusqu’au XVIIIème siècle. Il constitue aujourd’hui un patrimoine architectural d’un grand intérêt avec sa façade Renaissance classée à l’Inventaire des Monuments historiques, son élégante Tour de Gascq du XIVème, son parc aux arbres centenaires et sa vue imprenable sur la Garonne. En parallèle de sa vocation viticole ancienne, le Château de Portets propose une offre oenotouristique avec des visites à thèmes, projection d’un film, salle scénographique et photocall et investigation en équipe.

The Chateau de Portets offers tours for individuals and groups, schools and children. The site is fully accessible to people with disabilities.

From April to October – Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm

From November to March – Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm

Discover our vineyard, cellars and interactive tactile table with a room depicting the four seasons. Taste three estate wines.

You will leave with your souvenir tasting glass.

Investigation, on the 15 barons’ steps

With friends, colleagues or family, share a convivial moment in the heart of the vineyard. With the help of a roadbook and an investigator's kit (clues and tools), set off to discover the history of the chateau as told by the people who lived there. By teams, answer questions, decipher QR codes and enigmas to move along the route. Collaboration, reflection and focus will be precious allies in your quest. Finish with a tasting of the estate's wines (fruit juice for children).

Family Experience : Scavenger Hunt at the Chateau de Portets

Using a map, children over the age of 6 years old discover the history of the chateau and wine making technics. Independent tour through the courtyard of the Chateau. The hunt ends with a grape juice tasting and a graduation. Parents can pursue their experience with wine tasting.
